vacation rentals are let complete with maid services with or without car
rentals and airport transfers. This rental property is situated in a calm
and peaceful atmosphere at a distance of approximately 150 metres from the
sea of Mon Choisy ( Mont Choisy ) and Trou aux Biches beach in the north west and close to
the touristic fishing village of Grand
Bay in the Indian ocean - Paradise island of
Mauritius.
CONCEPT:
The Impala Mauritius holiday and
leisure flats or just in short impalailemaurice, a name to reckon with
quality, came into existence in 2001 after taking into cognizance of a lack
of proper self catering facilities, holiday apartments or vacation flats
type not available then, in the region of Mon Choisy .This idea of setting
up a holiday home away from home was conceived after spending years of
beautiful moments and escapades in self catering units of similar types
found in the Durban beach front of South Africa to boost the morale of
tourists, for those generally opting for a cheap accommodation type
apartment ,bungalow ,villas ,flats, condos, studios or just single rooms to
let in order to spend their holidays instead of holidaying in a hotel beyond
their means. To cope with the challenging times upfront in a fast booming
tourism industry, we are in the lead as a potential tourist specialist
holiday home provider in Mon Choisy and Trou aux Biches with a touch of
quality and conviviality.
HISTORY:
 The
Impala Mauritius also widely known as
impalailemaurice prides its name from
The Impala (a South African antelope in Zulu language found in sub Saharan
African region). It started its renting of self catering flats and tourism
related operations informally in May 2001 on a trial basis with the letting
of only one fully furnished apartment and eventually shot to limelight by
hearsay from tourists over the globe from the northern hemisphere viz
Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Russia etc to the far east up to
Australia, New Caledonia and New Zealand, thus forging itself ahead with a
name attributed to quality, comfort and safety. In the year 2003 a helping
hand was graciously offered to me by my younger brother, Daniel Jheelan,
residing in the suburbs of Paris and who can be contacted at +33 6 12 31
8173. He created our website

with an added touch of homogeneity on true self catering values hitherto
revealing of our endless dedication, hospitality, selfless love and
commitment towards providing whatever is the best that money can buy in
terms of quality and affordable rentals of self catering flats. The
undistorted assertive comments and critics formulated by several of our
past clients published at

main asset and speak for itself, thereby paving our way over the years by
putting us haughtily in a pole position in the main tourist activity of self
catering rentals in Mauritius and we at The Impala Mauritius have taken it
in our stride and therefore painstakingly developing it even further,
by bringing new originalities time and again with a blend of idealistic
creations ever since by making life easy for all those who have put their faith
in us with the abrupt changing times and ever increasing holiday
accommodation demands.
We are striving to perfection by initiating
and coming with new
ideas time and again. In 2004, after picking
up some momentum, The Impala Mauritius was duly registered, insured against
client indemnities, losses and licensed to operate all its six beaming self
catering flats with a view to be able to accommodate up to a maximum of
thirty (30) persons at a time. As a full fledged tourist rest destination, it
has met all the established norms and criteria set up by the Mauritius
Ministry of Tourism and Leisure with a license bearing no.01927. Over the years that we are operational, we have put all our resources to the benefit
of our prospective clients so as to render your stay as comfortable and
hassle free as possible amidst cheerful memories with an experience to
cherish and to look forward again.

aux Biches sea - TWO beach resorts overlooking the warm and clear water of the Indian
Ocean with sunshine practically round the year amidst stunning specks of
golden white sands are located in the north west of the island, known mainly
over the years for its turquoise clear lagoon and one of the finest and
safest beach with its stretch spanning from Cannoniers point to Trou aux
Biches, over more than five km. Situated 18 km from Port Louis, the capital
of Mauritius, 65 km from the airport and 5 km from the tourist holiday village
of Grand Bay or Grand Baie and 100 metres from Trou Aux Biches, The Impala Mauritius - Holiday
and Leisure flats is anchored at approximately 150 m from the warm sea,
between two of the finest beach spots - to the right from your let out
leading to Mont Choisy beach and to the left that of Trou aux Biches with 3, 4
and 5* ( star ) hotels in its surroundings. As part of our main activities, we
specialize in providing value for money in our retreat which are serviced
daily ( except on Sundays and public holidays ) by a team of house keeping
services.
Mon Choisy beach: The particularities of Mon Choisy beach is
the stretch of fine golden sandy beaches marvelously and incredibly lined
up with huge casuarina ( filao) trees, the roots of which act as a barrier
from sea waves to avoid soil erosion and to assist in soil retention and at
the same time provide shade from the sizzling sun during summer months.
It also enhances the beauty of the sea with lush and green vegetation,
amidst gusts and soothing crystal clear and warm turquoise water. The
water is so clear and transparent that one may even peek at the exotic
fishes and marine plants over the reefs.
There are around 1000 exotic fishes
and different species of sea plants found in our lagoon. You are sure to be
in PARADISE! as it was rightly said in "following the equator" 1897 by Mark
Twain - Mauritius was made first and that heaven was
copied after Mauritius Island.
 
The blue crystal clear lagoon
with warm water of Mon Choisy and Trou aux Biches with their golden specks
of white sand are the favourites of the islanders. The afternoons often
turn out to be very pleasant and bring fresh invigorating breezes, for
holiday makers to enjoy by going for a stroll whilst watching the sunset far
away on the horizon.
The Impala Mauritius
- Impala Ile Maurice
The Impala Mauritius or Impala Ile Maurice in French, is a
privately owned property, in a cul de sac bordering a natural reserve, with
endemic and tropical birds. This property is set in idyllic surroundings of
sun, sea, sand and calm atmosphere with nature at its best amidst the
chirping of tropical birds. It consists of six self catering independent
holiday units, able to cater for different needs, either for two sleepers
ideal for couples or honeymooners, a medium family with four sleepers for
four (4) persons, or a great family with six sleepers for six (6) persons with
sufficient rooms for any extra`s on request.
TWO APARTMENTS
FOR TWO PERSONS
EACH

This holiday rental is an accommodation which comprises of two spacious
modern air conditioned luxurious apartments > 90m2 each, one on each floor,
with a huge bedroom + 20m2, with a king size bed and en suite bathroom ideal
for honeymooners and couples. The spacious open plan lounge with dining
area and kitchen protrudes onto the balcony through the patio door with a
sea view ( applicable only for the apartment on the second floor whilst the
one on the first floor has a view on the forest with different species of tropical
birds ). A sofa bed has been put in place in the lounge to increase the
sleeping capacity should there be a need for any extra's or to relax by
watching favourites television programmes in a cosy atmosphere.

Composition of a 2 person apartment: An
air conditioned huge bed room ( > 20m2 ) with a double bed and en suite, fully equipped
spacious kitchen, dining / living room, bathroom, toilet and balcony.
TWO APARTMENTS FOR FOUR (4)
PERSONS EACH

This set up caters
for one apartment , each > 90m2 on each floor and consists of two modern
spacious air conditioned bed rooms with one double bed (king size) in the
main bed room and two single beds in the secondary room, thus allowing sleeping
capacity for four persons. A sofa bed has also been put in place to relax in
real comfort and to watch television programmes independently from the main
bed rooms without any disturbance.
Composition of a 4 person
apartment: An air conditioned master bedroom with a double bed and two
single beds in the secondary room, living /dining, bathroom, toilet, a
fully furnished modern spacious kitchen and a balcony / stoop with view on
the sea from the second floor ONLY whilst the one on the first floor has a
scenic view on the forest and
nature.
TWO APARTMENTS FOR SIX (6) PERSONS EACH

These are located on
the first and second floor and consists of two air conditioned bed rooms
with one double bed (king size) in the main bedroom with two single beds
and two bunker beds in the secondary room thus allowing for six (6) people to sleep comfortably. In addition to it an extra bed (double bed) has been
placed in the air conditioned lounge to allow for any extra sleeper. A sofa
bed has also been put in place to increase the sleeping capacity should
there be a need for it. The apartment on the second floor gives a nice view
on the sea from the balcony whilst the one on the first floor gives a sight
on the forest amidst chirping birds.
Composition of a SIX person apartment: Each
apartment has a surface area of > 90m2 with two air conditioned bedrooms. The
main bedroom comes with a double bed and two single beds along with two
bunker beds complement the secondary bedroom. (An extra bed has also been
put in place in the air conditioned living room for any extra sleepers),
living /dining, bathroom, toilet, fully furnished spacious kitchen and a
balcony. There is a sea view from the balcony of the apartment on the
second floor, while the one from the first floor has scenic view on nature.
KITCHEN:

All the kitchens are
identical, spacious and fully equipped with all cooking amenities for e.g.
300l fridge and freezer, electric / gas stove with oven and hob, microwave,
toaster, kettle, coffee maker, electric rice cooker, pressure cookers,
steamers , ample good quality cutlery and crockery in stainless steel etc!
Basic cleaning materials are also provided . A washing machine, line and
clothes drier has been put for your use. Bedrooms are furnished with
blankets and duvets with bed linen / sheets / towels / dishcloths changed twice
weekly.
Working Area
- A working desk area is available in the
apartment.
LOUNGE OR
LIVING ROOM:

The light painted,
spacious and stylishly furnished, open plan living and dining room comes
with a dining table and chairs, television coupled with local and foreign
channels, DVD and a hifi system. A comfortable lounge suite enhances extra
comfort relaxing with electrically powered fans or with air conditioning for
a peaceful rest after a day spent out in the sun or on the beach.
Hobbies:
Games, magazines, novels and beach assorted kiddies toys
have been catered for collective usage upon demand and should be returned in
the same condition prior to departure. A barbecue area is made available
adjacent to this property to shelter a Weber braai stand for a barbecue.
SAFETY/SECURITY:
A personal electronic
digital safe is made available in your room. The residence is guarded with
an alarm system and anti theft / burglar detectors. As far as your safety
and security is concerned within the premises, the building is monitored
24/24 with CCTV surveillance camera and an alarm system . The doors to your
apartment is secured by a main security door keeping intruders away. A
striking feature at The Impala Mauritius is the feeling of being safe and
secured at all times by knowing that there is always somebody near you - the
owner staying in the premises thus keeping any intruders at bay. He is
available for consultation at any moment which seemingly is a plus to the
existing facilities put in place to reassure all our clients for our ongoing
commitment towards excellence, comfort, safety and that of your belongings
as well as of your well being leaving your worries behind while you are out.

The price quoted for an apartment, under option GOLD for 4
persons with air conditioning is 54 Euros/night ( that means the price is 54
euros / night for the whole - 2 Bedroom Apartment and all four persons pay a total
of 54 euros / night ) including FREE TRANSFERS - Airport to Apartment and back
to Airport if your booking is for a period of eleven or more nights.
In
case your stay is less than 11 nights but more than 6 nights, then the return transfer from the
Apartment to the Airport or Harbour will cost you only 25 euros and we pay the
difference for the taxi. |

A quote for a

shall not be liable to any loss, injury, damage to

premises be damaged by water, fire, riot, storm or
force majeure.

The guests shall leave the premises in a good condition
as at the time of occupancy, except for cleaning. Any
breakages / loss should either be replaced or a
replacement fee to the value of the loss be effected
prior to departure.

No
items forming part of the apartment should be taken away.
